Windjammer is located on the Northern part of St. Petersburg, with easy access to Tampa Airport, St. Petersburg Greyhound Dog Track, Shopping and Interstate 275. Downtown St. Petersburg offers many activities and fine dining as well as for the usual casual eater. There is easy access to area shopping at Tyrone Shopping Center, downtown Baywalk, and just over the Howard Franklin Bridge in Tampa is West Shore Mall.
We are an “all age” community with 19 buildings spread over numerous acres. Windjammer is NOT an apartment complex. There is a conservation area with walking trails to explore, different species of birds to discover and the possibility of seeing deer, owls, squirrels and possibly raccoons while walking quietly on the trails. The wildlife in this area may offer many residents the enjoyment of observation but extreme caution must be used at all times. Remember wild animals mean WILD! These animals should NOT be fed.
Come and relax by our pool and spa area. We offer on-site security cameras for that “little bit of extra assurance” for your safety. Come relax in our newly renovated clubhouse with fireplace and kitchen area. For the laptop residents, we have “internet access” in the clubhouse.
Windjammer Condominium offers 6 different floor plans ranging in size from a studio with 445 square feet to a 3 bedroom/2 bath unit with 985 square feet each with its own screened patio. Each buildings has assigned parking areas and there is also an area for the larger vehicles such as boats and/or work trailers for short term parking. Our wooded areas and open community areas should not be taken for granted. Please use caution and common sense while enjoying all common areas such as swimming pool, spa, clubhouse and playground. the nature park with gas barbecue grills, and racquet ball / gym court. Obey the speed limits, watch for others in the streets (i.e. children).
